Healing Through Creativity
Join us this week for a journey of the soul with a message: Healing Through Creativity. Learn how to be the artist of your life and create the life you want to be living, without judging your creation.
Healing Through Creativity – Today’s message is “Healing Through Creativity.” Listen as Rev. Larrye-Marie Heyl, spiritual leader of Center for Spiritual Living Southeast Louisiana, continues our 2025 series on Wholehearted Living and begins our July talks on Creative Expression. She speaks of knowing you can heal through your creativity, expanding your concept of creation, and finding joy in your creative times. She encourages us to use new spiritual practices to increase our creativity and to avoid criticism or judgment of our creations. And she reminds us of these words of Ernest Holmes: “The Divine Plan is one of freedom, joy, and the creative urge.”
Enjoy the music of the Karen Drucker and our own CSL Southeast Louisiana music team.

Healing Through Creativity–“No Frills” Service – The service starts at the opening welcome, no announcements, with a message on: Healing Through Creativity, which focuses on being the artist of your days and learning to be the creator you were created to be!
Healing Through Creativity–Meditation Join Rev. Larrye-Marie Heyl and Karen Drucker as they move you into a time of centering yourself and dropping into your breath – the sacred rhythm of life flowing in and out of you. As you settle into that place within you where your highest Self exists, Karen sings “In This Every Moment” and you are invited to be open to healing through creativity, and to let go of judgments and criticisms of what you do create. You are reminded the creativity comes in many forms, not just from painters or sculptors, but from each of us as children of the Divine, the great creator. As you settle in the quiet of your heart and rest in the sanctuary of your own soul, you can feel Spirit guiding your steps and use this meditation time to see yourself being the artist of your days and healing whatever needs healing.
Healing Through Creativity– Reading Listen as Bob Wertz reads the July 1st excerpt from Wholehearted Living – An Enchanted Journey for Your Soul – 365 Days of Inspiration by Christian Sørensen and Katherine Economou entitled Creativity as a Spiritual Practice!. The reading reminds us:
“There aren’t creative people and non-creative people. There are only creative people who either engage with their creativity or do not.”
Healing Through Creativity– Message Only – Listen as Rev. Larrye-Marie Heyl, spiritual leader of Center for Spiritual Living Southeast Louisiana continues our 2025 series on Wholehearted Living and begins our month July talks on Creative Expression with a message on “Healing Through Creativity.” She invites you on a journey to discover your creativity and to remember you are created to be a creator. Do you judge your own creations, even though you know we are children of Divine, the great creator? She reminds you that you are not here to replicate, conform, or perfect. You are here to co-create with Spirit—to express, explore, and to heal. She quotes the words of Katherine Economou who said: “The soul yearns not for perfection but for expression. Healing begins the moment we allow what’s within us to take shape in the world.”
Imagine how much impact this community can have if we each chose to be the artist of our days and create a world that works for everyone!
Imagine What’s Possible
Join us this week for a journey of the soul with a message: Imagine What’s Possible. Learn how to use your imagination to see what is possible in your life and create that life for yourself.

Larrye-Marie Heyl, spiritual leader of Center for Spiritual Living Southeast Louisiana, continues our 2025 series on Wholehearted Living and our July talks on Creative Expression. She encourages us to use new spiritual practices to increase our imagination and reminds us to dream rather than limit life with disempowering stories. And she reminds us of these words from A Course in Miracles (ACIM, T-9.VIII.10): “You are altogether irreplaceable in the Mind of God. No one else can fill your part in it, and while you leave your part of it empty, your eternal place merely waits for your return.”
